NFOTB – Monkey Bread

Here is a recipe for a yummy breakfast treat that some prefer hot out of the oven (my mom) and some prefer when it is really cold (Tim). I personally like the brown sugar drippings that fall on the serving plate! I used to request this for birthday breakfast’s when I was younger with homemade Orange Julius’! 🙂 Chelsea helped make this at the cabin over the 4th!

Monkey Bread
  • 4 small cans of biscuits (cut each biscuit into quarters)
  • 2/3 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter (one stick)

Cut each biscuit into quarters. Mix white sugar and 1 t. of cinnamon together. Toss biscuits in mixture and place in bundt pan evenly. Melt together brown sugar, butter and 1 t. cinnamon. Boil one minute and pour over biscuits.Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 45 minutes. Enjoy!
